the Spirit of Power

There was a mixup at church today (1st time ever...not), so I ended up preaching when I thought I was preaching next week. My lesson was about speaking God's word boldly, about knowing Christ and being full of His Spirit (of course, it was still only in "thought stage", to be worked out for the following week). So, when I learned that nobody had actually agreed to preach today, I decided to demonstrate my own lesson and allow the Spirit to work through me. I am not bragging by any means, I boast only in the cross. I tested the Word to see if the Spirit indeed would tell me what to say...guess what?

The Lord is Good!
He is Faithful!

And I love being filled with the Spirit.
How uncultural....

There were differences to work out, and sacrifices to be made, but the Men of Youth Group became brothers at the House of a Thousand Farts.
